As you arrive in Ottawa your MPO tour director will greet you and start your tour. Your first activities will be to ride bikes along the famous Rideau Canal and then go for supper. The guide will point out major monuments as you go to your hotel.
You will start with a great breakfast in Ottawa. Then you and your students will get a tour of Canadian Parliament where all the major decision and law are made regarding Canada. Following this visit you will go to the Canadian Museum of History. You will then go for lunch and have time to explore Ottawa's world famous Byward Market. Before leaving Ottawa for Montreal you will visit the Canadian Museum of War. Once in Montreal you will have supper and then go to see the breathtaking view of the city on top of Mont-Royal. Afterwards you will check in to your hotel.
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Then you will go on a tour of the majestic Notre-Dame Basilica, followed by a visit of the archeological dig located under the Old city of Montreal at the Museum of Pointe-a-Calliere. You will have lunch in Old Montreal with some shopping time. In the afternoon you will ride to the top of the Olympic tower and visit the Biodome. You will then leave Montreal to have supper at a typical sugar shack on the way to Quebec City.
After breakfast you will have a guided tour of Old Quebec and learn about its history and its numerous battles. Then time to explore this jewel of the world that is Quebec and have lunch in one of its French Cafés. In the afternoon you will visit the Citadelle and then supper followed by a ghost tour. Then you will go back to the hotel.
Just after breakfast you will go and see the Chute Montmorency and then have a hands-on educational program about the life of a British soldier in the 1800-century in one of Quebec City's Martello Tower located on the Plains of Abraham. You will then have lunch in the lower city of Quebec where your students can get one last chance to buy a souvenir or two.
